I've been searching the forums, but to no avail...
I'm currently running Arch Linux, which I know is not exactly the most stable OS out there. I compile the latest version from the git repo every few days so I don't think there's some fix made for this!
Here's the issue:
The wii controller works fine, until the Wii Motion Plus accessory is connected to it. Once this happens, the IR camera ceases to function and the accessory is not detected.
In layman's terms, this means the cursor on the screen stops moving, and I'm still no closer to playing my Wii Sports Resort game...
And to counter some likely questions:
Any ideas? I'm stuck and hoping for a solution as I would love to play sports resort in glorious 1080p! #pcmasterrace
Seriously, the only reason I own a wii is to make a wbfs copy of any games I come across in the future...

- No, the accessory is not faulty - It works perfectly fine with a wii and my disc copy of Wii Sports Resort.
- Wii sports resort is the only game I own, so I can't test with anything else
- I have tried many, many different methods to connect it - Plugging it in before connecting the controller, plugging it in while the game is playing etc
- The bluetooth dongle is a generic no-brand thing, but it works perfectly well without the motion plus and my ps3 controller.
- I can't try the Toshiba BT stack as I don't own a copy of Windows, and never want to (eww, Microsoft)
- As I'm running Arch Linux, I have the latest version of about any piece of linux software you can name, so it's not outdated drivers etc here
