I mentioned this previously in another post so I'm just going to repost what I said to see if this catches any eyes for assistance.

I've been having this weird visual bug with all the characters in games like skyward sword where characters eyelid textures are not loading properly so they all appear really big white-eyed. I've tried tinkering with the setting and Vulkan seems to fix it sort of but the textures still flicker in and out. Is this something that is known on my device and if possible, is there a solution to this? Oh, and I'm on a MacBook Pro:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)
Processor: 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB

Is it only affecting Skyward sword, or are you seeing this in other games? If it's only SS, right-click the game in Dolphin's game list > Properties > Verify Tab > Verify.

So take a peek at this - https://twitter.com/Helios748/status/832395690667970560

Dual source blending problems! If you are seeing that, don't use OpenGL basically. There is certainly not going to be an OpenGL update for macOS so, you have to use Vulkan (which uses the much more up to date Metal via MoltenVK) in affected games. Thank you Apple for deprecating OpenGL for whatever reason.

EDIT: Also you could boot into Windows with Bootcamp and everything will work better and be faster. Supporting the graphics APIs everyone else uses is nice. /rant

Yeah I figured that would happen after they deprecated OpenGL, thanks Apple. Using Vulkan also sort of produces the same problems, however enabling certain hacks get rid of it at the cost of performance and even more loss of stability. So yeah, I think I'll try booting into Windows with Bootcamp. Thank you for the response!  Big Grin
