Did you try the latest revision ? There have been some improvements regarding Intel IGP support lately.

Yeah, that's a problem with old/bad GPUs on newer revisions, so you'll just have to use older ones.

While it usually isn't supported, you might want to try a build of r7715, maybe it'll work better there.
