Weird screen tearing in Wind Waker

I keep getting a strange screen tearing in certain areas within the game.

You can see it slightly in this screenshot. this tear runs jaggedly back and forth across the screen in this area. Any idea how to fix this?

This is a well known issue that has remained unfixed for years. I'm afraid their is nothing you can do.

heh, looks like one of those widescreen hack issues. i was gonna get windwaker for the emu... should i wait until it is fixed?

It's not a widescreen hack issue. It's a dragoon roost island issue. If you just get through this one part of the game with the bug you will never see it again.

Yes. It's a great game and has nearly perfect emulation on dolphin.

wrong it is apparent in the fire mountain also.

Ok yeah...two places, it's because of the heat effect.
