Hi guys, I've got an issue that's weird as hell.
Running Dolphin 5 on Ubuntu.
I've got a Mayflash 4 port GameCube controller adapter. It is configured as a Standard Controller, with rumble turned on. However, games lag when the controller rumbles. This affects every game that I've played.
I disabled rumble and the issue stopped - affected games play perfectly without rumble turned on.
I'm using the ToadKing driver for the controller adapter. Any ideas?

With a Mayflash adapter, you can try using the "direct connect" feature.

But this is weird… it looks like the write() call takes so long that it ends up blocking the CPU thread, which is unusual.

Ok, thanks for the tips. I've managed to get the controller working in Direct Connect mode, but I had to disable the ToadKing driver and reboot.
It works perfectly for Dolphin, however Ubuntu no longer sees it as a controller, and I am unable to map it for other applications. Do you guys have any advice on this?
