GCZs have no speed penalty. It might actually be faster than plain dumps for Wii games since GCZs don't need to be decrypted on the fly.
WBFS or GCZ or CISO?

I am converting some of my games to wbfs format using Wii backup manager. On some of the larger games it is splitting it into two files. I am launching games from a hyperspin frontend. Will it have any issue running the games with the files split like that as long as I name them the same? For example one would be Super Smash Bros Brawl.wbf1 and the other Super Smash Bros Brawl.wbfs

OP there is also WIA to consider. ??
For compression ratio only. Obviously needs to be uncompressed before being played though. You did mentioned storage space. Forget about it though 11-22-2014, 04:25 AM
Ok, thanks for the reply. My main concern is though with the split file as I described in my last post...does anybody know if that will work ok?

Sorry, But I don't think that would work. I think the parts ave to be appended together. Someone else reply I have no information here. Edit. Oh, and my first post was to OP. 11-24-2014, 11:27 PM
I use GCZ for GC and CISO for Wii. I use Y.A.C.C to convert.
