I load up the wii dump in dolphin. It gets to the n64 logo and then nothing happens. I have to shut down the emulator with the task manager. No error message is output.

My config for the game is below.

All my other virtual console games have worked great. Just this one is giving me trouble.

I have tried disabling dual core, running in interpreter mode, changing the backend to software and D3D. I have flipped all the efb copy settings back and forth, disabled all AA and AF, and toggled MMU, frameskip, synonskip, and basically every other setting on or off. I have also tried real XFB on and off.

I don't have any AR or gecko code added.

So I am at a loss.

Running version 5.0 - 249

Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

So I downloaded dolphin 4.02 and tried it, and it ran without changing any of the default settings. I haven't tried 5.0, but the latest version of Ishiiruka also won't load it. I am wondering if there might have been some regression on this game.

I'm kinda confused as to how you can say there's a regression, when you haven't tried the latest dev. build? 5.0-249 is 2,861 revisions behind master at this point. Go download it, and try again.
Download the latest development build of Dolphin and you'll be fine.
