The sound issues are bugs that will eventually be fixed.
Try this:

Ok so open Notepad and copy and paste this in...

TASKKILL /IM EXPLORER.EXE /F
TASKKILL /IM SIDEBAR.EXE /F
start /high /wait DolphinIL.exe
start explorer.exe
start sidebar "without .exe"

You get the liberty of being able to save it as whatever you want, just remember to save it as a .bat file.
Simply place it in your Dolphin Folder (Main One)
Instead of clicking on dolphin, click on that .bat file and there you go.

Next get game booster here:
http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

Also be sure to use Dolphin IL instead of .exe Smile

For an additional FPS on slower games turn of sound in Options.
It helps dramatically.

OK here is an update!

Build 3811 off that list you gave me Diddy is the last one that works (with no issues with the config etc) AND which gets me 60 fps fluently within Mario Sunshine. I get some sound clips... like in the beginning movies and when u get your water pack thing, but other than that total silence (HELP)

Zelda is the same... no sound in the title screen!

Resident Evil Zero is beyond me... i get that floaty 35 fps feeling no matter what I do... Is there a way I can add watch dog manually? 3811 is the last build which doesnt6 include watchdog so i guess its defo something to do with that!

Any ideas re: sound etc? Im pretty sure if my config etc would work then if i had a working copy with watchdog in it a;ll problems would be put right as there is a noticable improvement as i ascend through each rev on that list u gave me!

why the hell do you want 60fps in mario sunshine ?

this game has fullspeed with 30fps(ntsc) or 25fps(pal).

probably you think about VPS, which are useless.

with low watchdog i can have >400vps in mario sunshine, but the game is still slow....

It seems much smoother to me when I cap the game at 60fps... not 30 fps... Just my opinion....

probably you use a old revision with broken framecounter.
So the counter shows you either crap or the vps.

newer ones(for example 3972 from mainpage) with 60fps in sunshine would be impossible, game runs twice as fast than on gamecube.

keep in mind that you cant have 60 different pictures in a game running 30fps fullspeed, unless you want it to run twice as fast.

gamecube is not a pc where you can have the same gamespeed with higher fps.

probably another issue of the old revision you use.

there where huge improvements on sound from ~3700-3900, i recommend using a new revision to have all the advantages.

if you still have problems with 3972 form example, i cant help you. its working good here with first 3 settings on in dsp.
