If the Wikipedia article is accurate, it apparently doesn't work with XP as the guest OS, which disqualifies it in my case. 
Thanks for pointing that out, though, as it's the first I've heard of any VM being able to take full advantage of a GPU's features. Maybe VMware will add such functionality at some point. It seems that virtualisation software hasn't focused on such features yet, since it's mostly aimed at the business market, rather than gamers.
