Luckily came across this right before replaying the game for the first time in a while, great job! There were some Spriteling text boxes in the latter half of the game that were unchanged, but otherwise I didn't notice anything missing or messy. It wouldn't hurt to do a quick retexture of the Japanese title screen logo as well, since that is the superior version of the game with the enhanced final battle (which was very much lacking in previous releases).
Also, not related to the texture pack itself, but anyone who's planning to emulate the game make sure to use D3D instead of OpenGL, as it fixes a distracting polygon lighting issue prevalent throughout the game. Once again, great job man, thank you for giving this phenomenal title some much needed love, hopefully it will encourage more to try out this criminally underrated hidden gem. 08-03-2020, 03:41 PM

Thank you! That's unfortuante to hear about the text boxes not showing properly later, all of them were working perfect until I resized them to be smaller, I thought it was only the pause menu ones not working properly though so that sucks to hear. Next time I replay this game which is around once or twice a year I'll make sure to catch which ones are acting funky and I'll re-do them and the menu ones then . Also I would love to do the Japanese logo and didn't think about it, however I unfortunately don't have a Japanese copy despite my love for this game but if you're able to dump it and give it to me that would be greatly appreciated! Also I had no idea what you were talking about regarding the lighting issue while rendering with OpenGL however I saw what you meant when I opened my game, this is a completely new problem that must've come along with a dolphin update sometime from when I published this pack and now as it wasn't there before. Once again, glad to hear you enjoyed the pack, it's already gotten a number of people to pick it up for the first time and that was my goal in doing this! 08-03-2020, 03:49 PM

Yeah I realized it was kinda redundant after the fact, sorry! Honestly, I highly suggest anyone to toggle the texture pack on and off in various places you may find intersting to see how it looks! It looks really pretty when I played at 5k and I found it fun to do so when testing. Thank you though, hope you enjoyed using it or just looking at what I made. 08-09-2021, 11:29 PM
Just downloaded this today. Honestly, I can hardly see any difference at all between this and the original, given the same resolution. Anybody more familiar with this stuff, what sort of changes should I be expecting? EDIT: Upon close inspection, my computer does not have any more available RAM to load the custom textures. Is there any way to increase my CPU's available RAM?
How much RAM does your PC has? Your profile says “intel kexp5”, which is absurd. In order to pre-fetch custom textures, your PC must have at least 16GB RAM. If you don’t have that much RAM, then you need to buy and install RAM Sticks that are compatible with your motherboard.

Hey, just downloaded and started to play on my new PC and looks wonderful in HD. My problem is the aspect ratio keeps popping between 16:9 to 4:3 and back and forth. Is there a way to fix this?

The heuristic that checks for 16:9 or 4:3 is a little messed up. You can force one or the other in Graphics settings globally, or on a per-game basis using https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-un...s-per-game
