Quote:Today I play with svn r5218 ,it's OK.
Don't use the lase ver. use old ver. like r7220.It's ok.

So you are saying the shake button works with a gamepad / emulated wiimote in 5218 and 7220? Thanks, I'll try them out.

Quote:Did you configure the nunchuk to shake as well?

Why would you configure the nunchuk? I was under the impression that this game didn't use it. I'll try that too.
Shaking with a gamepad doesn't work in 3.0. I tried configuring the nunchuk, but it didn't work either. I guess I'll get those older revisions. It would be really nice to play this game with a controller.

Wario Land: Shake it is completely unplayable without a real Wii controller. I've tried bounding the shake and wiimote movement (move wiimote up/down) innumerable times with no success.

It's incredibly frustrating to repeatedly face games that have zero support on the emulated wiimote. But what's even more frustrating is the complete lack of documentation anywhere about it. I really don't understand the secrecy and lack of openness about emulated wiimote support on dolphin.

I would prefer to play it with a gamepad too, and the only way I know of to do it is to use a program that records real wiimote movements and plays them back. I can't remember the name of it though because just using the wiimote was less of a hassle.

Lack of openness? Dolphin is an open source program. If you are a programmer, please download the code and fix the shake button. A lot of people would appreciate it.

How do you record movements and load recorded movements into dolphin ?

Nah that's not what I meant. It's just that specific problems with particular games *especially* when it comes to emulated wiimote support are always vaguely answered. It has nothing to do with the developers - I meant the emulation community in general for dolphin.

Any question about the emulated wiimote is met with "get a real wiimote", or some vague fix that usually doesn't work.

dolphin itself is a superb emulator and the devs have done an amazing job. Other console emus are mostly awful in comparison (epcsx2 is horrendous for example).

Making it open source is also excellent, I got my hands on it a few days ago and I'm trying to add the toggle patch for sideways/vertical wiimote for some games like other m/warioware.

I started reading about it again, and old versions of Dolphin (in the 1000's) have a wiimote movement recording feature. It looks like this.

I also found a page with a tutorial.

You're right about info on this being hard to find. The pages I remember reading a few months ago with more detailed info seem to be gone now. I guess it could be some kind of conspiracy to force people to buy wiimotes, but I think it's more likely that it's a situation where fixing one thing breaks another.
