Is there any chance of an update fixing the free camera for WAD files? Currently moving the camera around warps the games graphics

It seems unlikely that this would happen specifically because the games are WADs. Can you give examples of what games you mean? Are they 2D Virtual Console games?

3D Virtual Console games (such as Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo) should work fine with the Free Camera option. Well... Define "fine" as pre-rendered backgrounds don't move along and the limited draw distance (culling) might not always render what is outside of your character's sight.

Specifically Pokemon Snap, Starfox 64, and Paper mario all get warped when you try to look up or down with the mouse. http://imgur.com/a/L22kg

It's because of how the games were programmed. If you want to use a free camera in them, you're more likely to get success adding it to an N64 emulator.

Its because the Projection 0 and 1 values are the same for perspective projection in those games. The Widescreen Hack and Free Look don't Handle those cases.

Use Nemu64. Disable Audio HLE if you want to Run Paper Mario.
