Note 8 exynos The exynos chips use mali GPUs - which have completely different drivers than the adreno GPUs in snapdragon chips. The android version matters little, it's mostly about the drivers that the devices ship with. I already know that Mali is different from Adreno. I only say, that before in the image I put the post above before July update had another version of different controllers and saves with the update to the change of version, both in OpenGL and in Vulkan to 440.87,3503 the controller and version of the Vulkan AI to 1.0.65 and the version of GPU version of OpenGL also to changed version of the GPU OpenGL is 3.2 v1.R9P0-01Rel0.b6d965566EB6F8CE05C810C37D9C528D and what I say is that that since changed all that to me, the terminal goes faster than before and I can remove maximum frames of 35 or 38 and the minimum that you can go down is between 29, 28 and 25 Frames but most of the time I stay at 38, 35 or 32 For tests watch this video a game is 720p at that resolution gives me some war, but in the minimum reduction works to topé, we go as almost the console itself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIbagwKpF4s&t=42s 08-24-2018, 09:25 PM
I found Vulkan on my ZTE Axon 7 RR-O suffers some screen tearing on Internal Resolution 1x Native and turns into heavy tearing on 2x Native. The good news is turning on Disable HW overlays in Android's developer settings fixes the issue for me. Some advice is it's disabled again after rebooting and it increases the Surfaceflinger process CPU%usage from around 3% to 25% (out of max 400%). Therefore in interest of battery life it should be disabled when not needed in Dolphin.

That option will also increase GPU load (it uses the GPU to draw the windows to the screen instead of any specific display block hardware) - so if you're gpu limited it may not be good for that either. Plus the extra power cost of more GPU load. 09-01-2018, 06:44 AM
Vulkan seems to be working on 5.0-8710 (Sd845 phone). Is this a work around/hack or an actual fix?
Thank you for the continued work guys.

Ok this is weird, mario sunshine becomes really slower than opengl when using vulkan, all other games seem to be fine. Anyone experienced this?
Using latest build.
