It's the driver version that's interesting - not the API version. That doesn't tell you much interesting, and is pretty useless to compare.

The vulkan API versions are backwards compatible for all the things we're trying to do, so make no difference here. Newer drivers tend to have newer API versions, but for the most part, the 'api version' just tells you that the driver team internally updated their headers from khronos upstream and rebuilt. Perhaps some (very) small interface changes were required, but it's unlikely they'll affect dolphin at all. 08-08-2018, 11:30 AM
