Hello everyone,

My Nvidia Shield TV is updated with the latest version, and i'm using the latest build of Dolphin Android (5.0-8993) but if i choose the Vulkan video renderer and then launch a game, no matter which one, the emulator says ''Failed to create Vulkan instance'' and after i press ok it says ''Failed to initialize video backend!''.
I saw on Youtube and on forums that the Nvidia Shield works perfectly with Vulkan but not mine.
Everything is ok when i use Vulkan with PPSSPP, it works perfectly.
So what's the problem with Dolphin?
Is there something i have to do to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help guys.

But how can i do it?
Will it delete all my game saves and game configs files?

Ok thanks, i will try this later today Smile

How can i see if my drivers are updated?
I just know my Nvidia Shield has the last update with Oreo, when i go to settings > about > look for updates, it says my Shield is fully updated so i guess my drivers too.
Or maybe i have something to do with my drivers?

Just delete the folders and Vulkan will work

Maybe it's because my games are stored on an external hard drive.
But it would be weird because it works with opengl renderer and Vulkan work with PPSSPP so i don't think it's the problem

I have some games that crush on start using vulcan with error message. BUT. Then I start it again and it works fine.

PS. In my games I didn't notice any significant difference between using Vulcan or OpenGL on my Nvidia ShieldTV
