That's odd. Usually Vulkan works pretty well with Oreo. Have you taken any OS updates recently? Was vulkan working for you before?

Same here, I get:

An error occurred.

Line: 45
File: /home/buildslave/worked/release-android/build/Source/Core/VideoBackends/VulkanVertexFormat.cpp

Ignore and continue?

With Pokemon XD on my S9+ T-mobile mode

Do you guys have gpu texture decoding enabled while uskng vulkan (in the hacks tab)? That setting breaks certain games but only when using the vulkan backend. I have no issue running pokemon xd when that setting is turned off. In recent builds, opengl has actually been faster than vulkan anyway. Ever since build 9563. ( im using a tmobile note 9 so a similar phone to yours)

I remember reading somewhere that some Pokémon games do weird things if you rely on save states, so yes. Saving in-game is better.
