Medal of Honor Vanguard has a long standing graphical issue with the Vulkan backend, in that there is heavy artifacting on the FMVs and the main menu.
This issue is not present on D3D 11, nor does it occur during regular gameplay.

Vulkan:

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Info tab)

RMVE69

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Verify tab, Verify Integrity button)
44cddd3c37c3585b58cc2ac107fe2d34

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Using the Vulkan backend, just start the game and watch the opening EA logo and the main menu. Also occurs on the regular FMV cutscenes.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Yes, tested on 5.0-15445.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
Vulkan does not exist on Stable 5.0.
Earliest playable version for MOHV I could find is 5.0-8408. Vulkan was first introduced in 5.0-750, but until 8408 (maybe a bit earlier) MOHV will not boot past the Wii Remote screen in any backend on my machine.

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
Intel Core i7-6700 @ 3.40GHz
AMD Radeon RX480
Windows 10 Version 21H1
16GB RAM

Found more regarding the issue:

EA's VP6 video codec is the culprit.
Tested on 007: Nightfire and got the same issue.

However, I do not have either Force Texture Filtering or Anisotrophic Filtering turned on, so I doubt it has anything to do with my configuration.

Aha! You guys beat me to it a whole week ago! Tongue

5.0-15515's Manual Texture Sampling fixes this.

Is anyone able to edit MOH Vanguard's wiki and update it with this info?
Thanks.

On 5.0-15571, Manual Texture Sampling is creating blotches of artifacts of a different sort.
