Vulkan crashes Dolphin

I'm trying to play Twilight Princess (Gamecube) and got about halfway through the game when suddenly my fps dropped to an average of 20. I asked a friend who introduced me to Dolphin for help and he told me to try Vulkan. It worked the first time and I played fine for about 2 hours and then closed the emulation. Now when I currently try to load a game using Vulkan, Dolphin immediately crashes. I'm not getting any type of error message or anything either. I would appreciate any help!
