Edit: more bad news, gamestream is broken I cant even start streaming games, then again its always buggy, so that's not news.
I also updated my Nvidia Shield Android TV (Pro version) to the new 5.0.2 update.
For me, using the Vulcan backend crashes Dolphin almost immediately.
Tried a couple of games, such as Mario Cart Double Dash.
Works just fine with the Opengl backend though so I guess I'll stick with that for now.
