for me open GL 3x native and 4xSSAA at 1920x1080 seems to look and perform alot better then the other options in my opinion.

It's blurry as hell and runs like sludge on most graphics cards.

Your 7970 is a top of the line graphics card so it can handle it performance wise but it's still not going to look as good as d3d9 SSAA.
