Dude if you have vista don't say it's the best because you have it.But steel they are wrong yes XP is faster and takes less gigabytes from you hard drive but vista is better quality (pictures look a lot better) and vista is for better computers I have a really good computer and my vista is faster than xp (well I do have 100000 gigabytes or you can say 1terabyte ) but non of the less vista is better it looks better it has a sidebar that really helps and if you compare vista and xp on some sites it will say 100% vista 0% XP 
.And the system 32 has a really good protection even without a antivirals program.So you sod by a vista I guaranty that you'll love it.
