Cheers!

After setting up most of my VC games without bigger problems, I can't get my Master System VC games running properly. While some of them look okay (like Sonic games), most of them (80%) are cut off to the right.

I've played around with every setting I could imagine that could fix this, but didn't have any success. It's strange that some Master System games work just fine, but most of them are cut off like this. Is this a known error, or maybe a bad dump, or...?

As seen on the screenshot, I'm currently running version 5.0-4225.

Texture cache needs to be set to safe. And if I had to guess you might also need xfb virtual/real.

Also that's suuuuper stretched! Make sure the aspect ratio is set to "Auto", not Force 16:9 or Stretch to Window!

Enable RealXFB if it's not on. These games use strided XFB copies, and it looks like you're only seeing the first half of it.

Thanks for the input folks!

Strange thing is still, that some games (like the Sonic games or the first Wonder Boy) look perfectly fine and are not cut off at all.

I tried meddling around with all sorts of settings already... Changing internal resolutions, aspect ratio, all XFB options - to no success... But maybe something was overwritten with the default ini file, I'll just add all those options to the game ini to make sure they are in use. I'll report back as soon as I've tested everything out, thanks for the input again!

Reporting back!

RealXFB did the trick! It is strange though that enabling RealXFB in the GUI (which I already did before posting here), it didn't seem to be working since the picture was still cut off. When I added it to the games .ini file yesterday though, it worked! Games look nice now!

Strange behaviour from Dolphin though...

The XFB settings (and a few other video settings) were broken in the GUI for a short while, but it's fixed in the most recent builds. I'm guessing it would be because of that, though I haven't checked if the version you were using was in the range of broken builds.
