Hi guys, noticed that many VC games from older platforms are locked to 50hz for Europe región.

There is a way to forcé them to run at 60hz?

Or we need per game AR codes or something like that? There isnt a global code or option to forcé VC at 60hz?

Thanks

There isn't, unless you're fine with everything including the audio being sped up, in which case you can set the Speed Limit setting to 120%.

You could try running triiforce and starting the games from there. At least on a real wii, some PAL games can be forced to run at PAL60 or NTSC that way.

Most PAL VC titles have roms that are designed to be running at 50 Hz and you can't really override this without breaking the game and/or speedup things, depending on how the original system works and how the game was "PAL optimised". Plus, on virtual console, there's an emulation layer on top of it that makes things even more complicated to patch.
From France with love.

Have you got IOS 9 installed? It should only try to load IOS 9 for a game that says it needs IOS 9. With a complete nand dump, or Dolphin's update function, you should get all IOS.

Also, have you tried running the title from the wii menu, while the wii menu is set to PAL60?

VC games just ignore that.

Yes, pal60 gets ignored.

System is updated, so not sure about the triiforce error. Will try again.

Ok, i tried it myself on super metroid and could get triiforce to run either. Something is broken about the ES_Identify emulation. I guess triiforce is using some fake sign hack and Dolphin requires proper signing now or something. I wasn't sure if it could force the video mode anyways, although it has some tricks to do so, video mode patches and 2 different methods of launching titles.
