Anyone have any thoughts on why Viewtiful Joe looks all jagged on recent releases? I used to play it at 1920x1080 and the lines of the cel-shading were pristine. Now when I run it on the latest versions of Dolphin, the lines are quite jagged. Zelda:WW looks stunning in its cel-shaded crispness, but not sure what settings might be impacting VJ.

Thank you.

Real xfb is enabled by default otherwise you won't have ingame videos, something that you probably didn't notice before.

Thanks for the reply. I believe I am seeing all the content I expect to see in the game, but specifically, the characters and lines in the game are all blocky. That said, I'll give it a shot to see if that might be causing the issue I'm seeing.

I'm running at 1920x1080 with 4xAA and 16xAF with auto aspect on.

That will not matter if real xfb is it makes the game look like crap no matter what.

So, real xfb affects the quality of the image, as well as allows for the videos to play? If I don't care about the videos, then I can disable XFB and that should improve the quality of the image?

Once again, thank you for the info. Turning Real XFB off in the INI did the trick, and the game looks as gorgeous as I remember...all I've noticed missing so far was some intro video, but it appears the video with the team logo and such was working. Wow...I am constantly amazed at the quality of this relatively young emulator. I wonder if Nintendo will be able to do half the stuff Dolphin has done bringing these classics into the HD world when they release their next console. Of course, if Nintendo does do it, it'll just work out of the box...though I would need to be able to disable the blurring in Zelda:WW like I am able to do with Dolphin - which I'm not sure they would do.

Okay, enough rambling. Thanks again.

Ok no matter what settings I use, this game looks horrible. RealXFB is off by default in the .cfg (there is no "ini" file that I can find). Also, what happened to the settings for dolphin? I haven't been using it for a while, now I come back into this and half the settings we had before are gone. Why isn't XFB settings in the regular config now? It's in a .cfg file? Why the regression?

Then I guess you can't fix it.
The .ini file should be under dolphin/user/gameconfig
