Anyone else have problems with these games? Sonic adventure dx crashes on me all the time right after I defeat chaos in the beginning and Viewtiful Joe 2 seems to have decapitated characters because my character's head is off his shoulders and is placed behind or in front of his body, yes behind him or in front of his body instead of on his shoulders. If anyone is polite enough to reply can they tell my why are there so many crashes for this emulator. I just started using this emultor so I got no idea how new or how much work has been done on it so far but I notice a lot of crashes and various problems from a number of games. I use the latest rev's all the time.

Sonic Adventure DX is known to crash at this place, needs fix. For Viewtiful Joe you should try to disable Optimize Quantiziers or run IL version with it enabled.

Hopefully that sonic fix happens one day, I was excited to play that game again, lol. I figured it wasn't going to stop when it happened more than twice and I kept using the save state. 09-07-2009, 04:00 AM

The only way to get past that crash in SADX is to run the spot in Interpreter mode (really really slow). So it seems to be a JIT issue. Or if you want to play every level in the game, use a completed save.
I made an issue report on the Google Code site about the game. I wish I could find someone to bug so they could fix the game, but no one's interested in fixing game compatibility issues these days. *runs* |
