Vibration requires more electricity than most of the other things the remote does [citation needed], but it doesn't really make enough of a difference since it's only using that electricity once in a while or for short periods of time. Your remotes might last a half hour longer [citation needed], but the real concern is whether the vibration is useful or annoying in whatever game you're playing, not battery life.
