So I have a bit of a weird issue with Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (Which is listed at four stars on the current compatibility list, I think), and several other games. I am running a SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful computer than I was the last time I used Dolphin. Since I don't know if the specs I entered at Signup list here, I'll list them in my post. But first, the specs I remember from my old computer.
AMD 4500 HD GPU
AMD Athlon x2 2.8 ghz
5 gigs ram.
Now, I am running...
Nvidia 9600 gt (I don't know if this is an improvement over the last graphics card, it is a quick replacement for a vastly better card that went kaput)
AMD Phenom 2 X4 clocked at 3.2 ghz, 3.5 in the winter.
8 gigs ram.
My problem is, the game ran at about 80-95% speed on my last computer (As did most games), and I can't seem to break 60-70% speed on any games, specifically this one, with my new computer. I have downloaded the latest version of the emulator and am giving it a try, and I will report back with results, but I wanted to know if anyone could help me before I got too caught up in trying to fix it myself.
