Hello!
I'm very new to emulation, I have just discovered and downloaded Dolphin. I am running a Macbook Pro, purchased 2008, and I have not installed any new sound/graphic cards - just the factory standard that come with any Macbook. For what it's worth, I can run the N64/VBA Emulators without a hitch. I know that Dolphin is a much more sophisticated system - that's why I'm here.
So I've downloaded Dolphin, and I've also gone through and downloaded the .rar file from emuparadise for Smash Bros Melee. My understanding is that this .rar file is supposed to be an ISO although I am not sure how this process works.
When I unzip the .rar files, I end up with about twenty different files: sc-ssbm.001 through to sc-ssbm0020 or so. Each of these are about 40mb in size - as far as I know, these are not ISO files - and therefore, when I open Dolphin to search for the ISO so I can play the game, I can't open the sc-ssbm001 files.
What's the missing step? Can somebody help me out with this? How do I turn the .001 files into something I can open with Dolphin?
Would really love a hand! I can't really find these instructions anywhere on the internet.
