Hello,

So,today I downloaded the package from this page: https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/2139 and there is a .patch file called "Dolphin JOY bus update". I heard that you must apply them to the source and compile it somehow although I don't know how to do that so can someone please do it for me on the 4.0 version? Or just the best version that supports 32-bit Windows and the connection with VBA-M. As the emulator provided there won't even connect to Dolphin so I think it needs that patch to be applied there. Because the only versions I got it to work with were: Dolphin 4.0 and VBA-M SVN 1229 although VBA is running good until I enable the joybus feature. Then it starts lagging like hell even though Dolphin is running just fine. I know that the joybus feature was redone in one of the newer versions of Dolphin but I only have 32-bit so I thought maybe if someone could patch it for me with the .patch file in that package, maybe I could get it work with at least some reasonable and playable speed, even if it's not full speed but at least if it's better than now.

Thanks Smile

what OS are you running? If you are on Windows 10 32 bit, you can reinstall the 64 bit version for free

We don't support 32 bit any more, and honestly, you should not try to use it. 64 bit has a general speedup, so just update to any 64 bit OS.

Try Turbo Mode on VBA-M, that might get you the speedup you need. It works for me on Four Swords.

If you go through Windows Accessibility website, I think it's still a free update to Windows 10

Well,I am not really into Windows 10 actually. And yeah,I think I should get a 64-bit OS but I'll only go with 7 or 8.1. I won't install 10 on this computer, maybe on another but not this one. But can somebody please tell me because I don't really have any knowledge in this, what's actually the difference between those two and why do you only support 64-bit now? Also, don't blame me for getting 32-bit,the guy who was fixing my PC earlier installed Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (I had XP before) even though my processor seems to be capable with 64-bit and he had to know that cause he works with PCs all the time -_-

Something to do with the fact it can handle more memory
Here's a look at why Dolphin dropped it: https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2014/05/19/obituary-32bit/

You can legally download the 64-bit version of Windows 7 and use your current license key to activate it.
