Various lags in Kirby's Epic Yarn

Usually I maintain 60fps when out of combat but when i engange into heavy combat such as boss fights, my fps lowers to around 40fps. The sound also starts to stutter a little bit. My fps also lowers during battle scenes when involving me transforming into a tank. Any settings to fix this so I can avoid lag?

System Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home (64bit)
CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-3570 3.40 GHz Quad Core
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB 16X PCIe
MOBO: GIGABYTE Z77-DS3H Intel Z77 Chipset DDR3 ATX Mainboard
RAM: 16GB (8GBx2) Corsair Vengeance

Did you enable High Performance in Windows?

I just enabled high performance. It doesn't seem to do anything. The laggy/choppy problem still persists.

You may want to lower the Internal Resolution (IR) in order to get more speed...

This game crashed during the boss battles in the past, crashes were fixed but it had an impact in performance, there is not much you can do about it.
