Hi !

I've got some issues on my laptop (check my signature for specs) that don't happen on my desktop.
I mostly play Melee 20XX and Project M Legacy XP with my friends.

1/ Basically, when V-Sync is enabled, it seems that the game wants to stay at 58 FPS instead of 60, causing audio crackling and a true problem for precise timing combos. Disable V-Sync fixes this issue, but tearing is so violent it's not smooth at all and not very playable.

2/ Second problem is, when Project M XP tries to load a SD card resource, the game can freeze up to 4 seconds. This problem is also happening on real hardware and my Desktop, but it usually takes less than 0,5 second. Also, I have a fast SSD so I don't understand why it's so slow.

I usually play with these settings : DX11, 2x IR, 2x MSAA, 4x Anisotropic, Perpixel lightning, 24 bit colors, Custom Textures + prefetch.
But I also tested with all these off and native IR, the issues are still here, on every graphic API.
From France with love.

See if your computer or monitor is somehow set to think it is 58 hz. You could also try forcing vsync in nvidia control panel.

Also, with a NVidia card you'll get better performance with OpenGL
Windows 11 Home x64
Intel Core i7-10700
Nvidia Rtx 2060 6GB
32.0 GB DDR4 RAM
