Hey,
I haven't been a long time user, nor do I have much research on the subject so please excuse my ignorance but id just like to know if i'm taking all the right steps in configuring controllers.
SO recently I acquired an Official nintendo wii u gamecube adapter and read up that you can use them for dolphin, i hooked up the controller via the guide on the dolphin wikia, no problems, I was able to play Zelda Twilight Princess full speed (for the most part) all controller buttons had full functionality with no lag, i was very impressed. There was however(with both zelda and super mario sunshine) a problem with a few of the graphics the water in particular for both games had rendering problems(http://i.imgur.com/U1aCqrS.jpg) when running them on the latest dolphin(4.0-6988) i read up that Macs have difficulty rending water. Now the water breaking has never really been so much of an issue that I cant play the games but take the Lakebed Temple in twilight princess for example and its something that cant go unnoticed, when researching on how to fix the problem the most common answer was to downgrade to a more stable version, im now using Dolphin 3.0 and not only are no issues with the water it also runs 10x faster with everything running a cool 100%(par hyrule field), the unfortunate downside to this is that no matter how much ive looked into I just cant seem to get the gamecube adapter to work on 3.0.
Is the adapter compatible with 3.0?
If so could you please walk me through.
If not is there another version I should download?
Again I apologise if this is an easy fix and im coming across stupid.
SPECS

Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel core i5
