I would love to have the six axis work in Dolphin. I use DS4 controllers for most all my emulation and it is extremely helpful with Cemu, RPCS3, Citra , Yuzu, etc. If you have ever tried playing a wii game called Fishing Resort with a gamepad, it kinda sucks, but if you could use the six axis in a DS4 controller, it would be AWESOME.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but there is a super easy way of doing this. If you add dolphin to steam, you can bind the gyro to anything you want, including the mouse. I've found this to be a game changer in tons of pc fps games, but i assume it would work well with games such as mario galaxy as well.
PC: Ryzen 9 3900XT, RTX 2080ti, 32gb 3600mhz ram
Android: Oneplus 9 with Snapdragon 888
Nintendo Switch
Oculus Quest 2
Steam Deck
