I know this is probably a stupid question but I', not sure how the GC memory card system works in Dolphin.

I have games from PAL, NTSC-u and NTSC-J regions. Games all save fine but if I want to save, say, a PAL game after playing and saving an NTSC game the emulator tells me I have to format my 'Memory Card' thus losing my previous saves from my PAL game...

Why can't I just save games and allow Dolphin to automatically use a pertinent region memory card? Doesn't Dolphin already automatically take care of region settings upon a loading up anyway?

Failing that, is there a shortcut key that one can use to switch memory cards? If so, can I assign that to a controller button?

Thanks for any advice. Smile

Are you using GCI folders?

I've no idea. I'm just using Dolphin straight out of the box, so to speak.

Go to the Game Cube Section and switch your memory card to GCI Folder.
