Using Gamecube Pad controls with Wii games

How do I configure to default the Gamecube Pad controls for Wii games? If I press the pad's A button it switches to Gamecube pad controls, but once I press the arrow keys the controls switches back to Wiimote

In the controller configuration, set the Wiimotes to None to prevent Wiimotes from being used.
