Hi, the name Is crietenz, and I've made an interesting discovery that I think will prove worthy of many users time here on Dolphin forum's. I'm Hoping that this thread will get a sticky for my effort in making Dolphin and other emulators usable for people with moderate grade graphics cards.

Game Booster 3 is capable of delivering the best gaming experience to you even if you have an old PC. One-click to boost PC performance is not enough, Game Booster 3 also allows you to tweak your system for top PC performance. By temporarily shutting background processes and unnecessary Windows services, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance, Game Booster 3 concentrates every little system resource for gaming only.

However this is not a solve for everyone unfortunately It's up to you to give it a try. I'm hoping my video is enough proof to show that this Is very effective given you have the specs to achieve maximum FPS.

Game Booster 3 is compatible with PunkBuster, Cheating-Death, VAC, and any other anti-cheat software.

Lame booster = sucks and might contain viruses.

This community don't take any responsibility whatsoever what can happen using things like that and don't come here with problems related with using Lame booster.

Get a better rig and go clean which saves you and others troubles!

I understand your argument about viruses and all that jazz, but that really is just up too you to decide whether or not your willing to take that risk. I actually do have a quite decent rig, but not just for gaming.

And as for "lame booster" I wouldn't say that, because it does prove to work quite well for users who Don't have the proper speeds that they need to play on the emulator itself.
All it does is stop processes in the background. It's not a speed hack, or hack at all really. It just saves you the time of having to stop any process that you obviously don't need for playing games.

This Isn't for the users who have the money to shell out on a computer to play these games, or not savvy enough to find good deals and build custom computer's. This is for the lamen, not the elite.

That's some valid points and I respect them, but I have never trusted software that claims to enhance performance.
I think you can do most of the work without a program, there's quite a bunch of things you can do in Windows to increase performance.

I'm my own army and take care of things alone. I don't jeopardize a thing with something that could harm my computer in bad ways.

I've actually been using gamebooster for awhile now and i can vouch that it does NOT help in anyway, please keep in mind that all gamebooster does is close down any unnecessary programs running in the background, meaning what gets cleaned is your RAM, now if whatever is running in the background is eating alot of processor power, GB may help, which hardly happens cause any software developer knows if he designs a program to work in the background it should use very little processing power but something like that falls onto the user for installing whatever program it is in their computer that clogs it up.

Game booster is nothin more than a program for people too lazy to open up their task manager and look at whats happening, it might work for you but not for most people who actually know the effects of a program before installing, turn off game booster and open your task manager, there should be a program thats eating alot of processor power, end the process and voila, GB not needed.

For most people It's not that simple. A lot of people, unlike you and I don't even know what they are even looking in most cases. Keep in mind that I'm not aiming for the Elite demographic here. I'm aiming for the people who browse these forums because they are looking for any little bit of speedup or boost that they can get, and I must say for someone with a lower grade graphics card just barely capable of obtaining 35fps this Is well worth it. Not everyone know's what background processes to terminate, or even that they are even causing a problem in the first place. It's not useless, and I can personally vouch for that.

Yeah, i get that, what i have a problem with is the name you've given this thread and the video, depending on the background programs running the speed you get differs depending on how much power that process is using, so saying 'how to run dolphin at 100%' is quite misleading

There are plenty of other legitimate no-cost things you can do to speed up Dolphin. Using an optimized build is one of the easiest. Overclocking helps too, though depending on the system, it might not be possible. Manually getting rid of background processes might help depending on what they are, e.g. you might be better off disabling a virus scanner rather than some obscure MS service that isn't as active.

But I agree, the thread title is misleading, as there's no absolute way to make sure Game Booster gives everyone 100%. If the hardware is weak enough, no gains in performance might occur at all. I'm still dubious about GB, so I follow the "if it sounds too good to be true" mentality. If it works for you though, more power to you. At least you're running games full-speed now.
