Since the r7299 x64 revision (and perhaps somewhat earlier revisions as well, I'm not fully sure), using DSP LLE on thread makes the emulator hang when you boot a game. This was working in previous revisions (r7274, r7236, for instance). If I don't check the DSP LLE on thread box, the audio is stuttery and clips a lot, so that's why I'm concerned. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried these of the later revisions (and had the same problem with all of them): r7299, r7308, r7311, r7317, r7338. I'm using DSP LLE recompiler.

Specs:

Win 7 Ultimate x64
Intel I7 920 @ 3.8 GHz
18 GB DDR3 PC12800 RAM (triple channel)
Geforce GTX275

I hope this isn't a known issue. If it is, I apologise in advance for missing the information.
