How to use analogic sixaxis tilt function on DS4 controller with Dolphin

You can map tilt function of Playstation 4 controller to Dolphin wiimote tilt with this workaround.

1) Install DS4windows http://ds4windows.com/
2) Using profiles, leave everything unmapped, except ds4 motion control. Map tilt to xbox360 right stick.
3) On settings, select xinput ports 2.
4) On controllers, assing the profile to your ds4.
5) Again on settings test the gamepad on control panel. Everything should go to the generic windows controller except motion, that should go to xbox360 right stick.
6) On Dolphin gamepad profiles folder, paste this, and save as motion.ini:

[Profile]
Device = DInput/0/Wireless Controller
Buttons/A = `Button 1`
Buttons/B = `Button 7`
Buttons/1 = `Button 3`
Buttons/2 = `Button 2`
Buttons/- = `Button 8`
Buttons/+ = `Button 9`
Buttons/Home = `Button 11`
IR/Up = `Axis Zr-`
IR/Down = `Axis Zr+`
IR/Left = `Axis Z-`
IR/Right = `Axis Z+`
IR/Hide = `Button 5`
Shake/Z = `Button 0`
Extension = Nunchuk
Nunchuk/Buttons/C = `Button 4`
Nunchuk/Buttons/Z = `Button 6`
Nunchuk/Stick/Up = `Axis Y-`
Nunchuk/Stick/Down = `Axis Y+`
Nunchuk/Stick/Left = `Axis X-`
Nunchuk/Stick/Right = `Axis X+`
Nunchuk/Shake/X = `Button 10`
D-Pad/Up = `Hat 0 N`
D-Pad/Down = `Hat 0 S`
D-Pad/Left = `Hat 0 W`
D-Pad/Right = `Hat 0 E`
Tilt/Forward = `XInput/0/Gamepad:Right Y-`
Tilt/Backward = `XInput/0/Gamepad:Right Y+`
Tilt/Left = `XInput/0/Gamepad:Right X-`
Tilt/Right = `XInput/0/Gamepad:Right X+`

7) On Dolphin wiimote emulated config, select and load this profile.

Now you can use the normal gamepad functions to control the game, and the ds4 tilt as wiimote tilt. Note this is optimized for Mario Galaxy control, and you should create another profile for another games.

I know this is pretty old but I am trying to get this working.  I have unmapped all buttons except for the right joystick which I mapped to the tilt but when I go to the control panel to check the tilt works just fine and is assigned to xbox 360 but the rest of the buttons do not register to the generic windows controller as the op states and sadly doesn't work in dolphin.  Did you do anything differently to make that work?

The OP is for DS4's. It won't be the same on a XBOX360 controller.

To get the other controls to work, select the XBOX360 controller from the Device drop-down on the top left corner.

I am setting up a DS4.
I am referring to step 5: 5) Again on settings test the gamepad on control panel. Everything should go to the generic windows controller except motion, that should go to xbox360 right stick.

When I go to test in the control panel of the DS4windows settings there are the two options for the generic windows controller and xbox360.  The motion is indeed working for the xbox360 but when i click on the windows controller none of the button presses work and does not work in dolphin. Just wondered if I was missing something.

This guide doesn't work. Nothing is happening when I press my buttons. Button 1, 2 etc is named A, B and so forth on my controller
