As the title suggests, I have a few questions about the Dolphin's Wiimote drivers:
1) Is it possible to use the drivers with Unity or another game development engine?
I've tried using GlovePIE, but it's WAAAAAAY outdated and I'd rather not have to use something that hasn't been updated since 2011.
2) If it is indeed possible, is it allowed?
Currently I'm just trying to see if I can create an extremely low-budget VR setup (Google Cardboard and a Wii Remote) - I've got the VR headset crap working well enough I suppose but I need to be able to read the Wii remote's inputs and positioning from within Unity. I have no intention of redistributing anything, I just want to create a proof of concept for now.
3) If it's either not possible or not allowed to use the Dolphin's drivers elsewhere, then is there an alternative anyone could recommend?
I mainly want to use the Dolphin's driver because it seems far more stable than what I've seen with GlovePIE, and it's able to keep my remote from disconnecting on its own (which was a HUGE problem with GlovePIE)
Those're all my questions for now, but if I have any more I'll post 'em.
