blug2502, how do you connect your DS4 to your PC?

That is actually incorrect, a standard wii remote with the motion plus adapter doesn't require the toshiba stack! It will however have some connection issues with peripherals, which is annoying and not fixable, but it doesn't inhibit play.

This. MaJoR is totally right, I've never installed Toshiba stack, Skyward Sword and Sports Resort both work fine with _Original Nintendo Wiimotes_ and _Original Nintendo Motion Plus Accessories_. Well, SS needs frequent recalibration after some M+ maneuvering, but it's easily tolerable. In contrast, I have run into problems when using third party Wiimotes. Also I've noticed that a GOOD connection (I have my BT dongle on a USB extension cord to have a line of sight with my seat, and not behind the computer) helps with the connection issues.

Sorry about that. Not sure if things have changed, but (way) back when I tried to play Skyward Sword I couldn't get my official Wiimote + adapter to work w/o Toshiba Stack.

the real issue we aren't aware of is if the OP actually has official motes. I didn't catch what type of mote and adapter he was using , could also be why they don't work. I myself am ordering what is hopefully an official nintendo m+ adapter to test LoZ:SS out.

Mine are official remotes and adapters as far as I know, if not then the sweaty jerk at gamestop has some explaining to do. I might try to replace the adapter and see if it works. Dolphin bar just came in the mail 20 minutes ago so I will give that a try.

Whelp, It didnt work. I can now only assume that there is an issue with the adapter I purchased. Ill keep the dolphin bar and purchase some tr remotes. Hope it works. What a big goddamn pain in the ass this whole experience has been.

You could always test your WM+ with GlovePIE and a script that uses it. This one lets you move the mouse with it when holding in B.
GlovePIE: http://glovepie.org/lpghjkwer.php
Script: http://www.mediafire.com/download/3pddyb580q8wqt6/lednerg+WiiMotion+Plus+Mouse.zip

It won't work for Dolphin bar, the wiimote must be connected through bluetooth. If there's a faulty connection or the wm+ is faulty, it should give a "not detected" message. If it works, you should be able to move the mouse cursor when holding in B.

If anyone is still paying attention to this thread, I can confirm that the motionplus adapter I had was in fact defective. I purchased a new one and it worked fine, without the BS toshiba stack. Thanks everyone.
