My understanding was that if I simply used the basic wiimote with the motion+ adapter, I wouldnt have to deal with the toshiba BT stack but for whatever reason, when my adapter is connected, I cant get any games to detect my wii remote when they normally would. Ive been trying to play skyward sword for a while and it's getting a bit frustrating. I use DS4 to play my regular pc games with a ps4 controller and the toshiba stack completely ruins that functionality so I'd like to avoid turning my pc into an extra large, expensive, less than functional wii. Am I missing something, is my motion plus adapter just faulty?
Using a WiiMote with Motion Plus adapter

Are you using BT as well for your PS4 controller? If so, that's why. The driver installs and hogs the adapter for itself, you can't have both (as you're aware).
You have to pick. (07-08-2015, 03:51 AM)Garteal Wrote: Are you using BT as well for your PS4 controller? If so, that's why. The Wiimote works fine and I even use the ps4 controller as a second player for games like mario Kart. Does the motion plus really require that much data? I suppose I can disconnect the ps4 controller from BT and check to see if it works. 07-08-2015, 04:47 AM

Well, I unpaired the PS4 controller from the pc, tried again and still get this at startup. Dolphin does acknowledge that a wii remote has been connected but pressing a doesnt do anything and neither does the home button. Also I cant exit the emulation as I normally would, dolphin freezes and I have to shut it down. 07-08-2015, 04:49 AM

Unfortunately you'll need Toshiba Stack if you want to play Skyward Sword (for Motion+) since MS Stack lacks a lot of functionality which you need. Again, that'll require you to uninstall the DS4 drivers completely and free the BT device for Toshibas.

Then this completely defeats the purpose of using a OLD wii remote without M+. Like blung2502 believed (and many of us), if you used the older Wii remotes you wouldn't have to go through the trouble of using a the Toshiba stack but if that's not the case why would they say so. It's misleading and it can save more time if they just wrote it out solidly to get a Toshiba stack enabled BT...
Yeah, I thought the issue was only with the new TR wii remote with motion plus built in. Until the motion plus adapter is plugged into my wiimote, my controls all work fine, even in conjunction with the ps4 controller. Ive use my ps4 to play mario kart wii and many gamecube games. So long story short,I need to uninstall DS4 AND install the toshiba stack or The adapter wont work at all? Thats really too bad...Thanks for all your help, I appreciate your input.
