Using a real Wiimote with mouse as pointer?

Hi,

I still have my real Wiimotes and nunchucks so I have been trying to set them up with Dolphin. This has been very confusing, as with all the different versions of Dolphin over the years, I have seen so many different and conflicting instructions in my research and some of the instructions are old and don't seem to work any more. I finally managed to get my Wiimote hooked up to Dolphin, but I do not have a usb sensor bar. Is there a way to use a real Wiimote but use the computer's mouse as the pointer? I have read in older threads about something called a "hybrid remote" but I cannot seem to find that option so it might not be available any more. Thanks!

Ok, that's a shame but thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'll probably look into a usb sensor bar, as that seems to be the way you are meant to use a Wiimote with Dolphin?

Yes, a USB-powered or battery-powered sensor bar is the best way to go for using Wii Remotes on Dolphin.
