I just recently got a PS3 and I was wondering if I could use its game pad as the controller for my game emulators on the PC since it has a USB plug. What do I need to configure on my emulators to make the controller compatible with the software?

The controller I use is a PS3 pad and it does not respond when I use it on the Game Cube emulator even after configuring the controls.

Alright, now how do I set the PS3 controller for PS emulators?

Hey im using my ps3 controller for dolphin too and it works great in Super Smash Bros Brawl

First go to http://www.google.com and search ps3 sixaxis driver
Find a site that has the download ex: ps3-hacks.com
Download it, then install it
run the command icon that came with the download hold th PS button for 5 secounds

Go to Game Controllers in your computer in the controll panel test it or calibrate it. It should work with dolphin or any other emulator like PJ64 Hope it helps add me on PS3 GunslingerProX
make sure you connected it with the USB that came with your ps3

I got the controller working. Now the only thing I need to do is fix the audio of the emulator which is slow and lags behind the video. What do I need to configure to make this work?
