Hi everyone,

I've been using Dolphin under Linux Mint ("Ubuntu") since long ago. I use to update Dolphin once a week but this weekend I haven't been able to. I thought something went wrong with the build so I cloned the repo again but I'm still stuck at the same place. (it is good to mention that I'm still kinda noob at Linux)

cmake ..  starts right, but it gives me this error:

Code:
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:905 (find_package):
By not providing "FindBacktrace.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project
has asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by
"Backtrace", but CMake did not find one.

Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Backtrace" with
 any of the following names:

   BacktraceConfig.cmake
   backtrace-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "Backtrace" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set
"Backtrace_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files.  If
"Backtrace" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has
 been installed.

-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

Can anyone shed some light on this? Where to start the search for the error? I was running OK Dolphin build 5.0-138 and I'm under Linux Mint 17.3 64bit. If I'm missing something important, please let me know!

Thanks so much for the help and for this GREAT emulator!
Greetings from Argentina!

The Backtrace requirement has been removed.

Pull from master and try building again.

That is the repo that the master branch is in. To get the latest version, you have to pull or fetch the master branch (unless you want to spend time and bandwidth re-cloning the whole repository).

[EDIT: This post was in response to a post that was deleted. A copy of the deleted post is at https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-used-to-but-now-can-t-compile-under-linux?pid=417040#pid417040]

Thanks for your reply JosJuice,

Yes, the strange thing is that after updating and even after a full clone of the repo I got the problem in the OP. I got it after "make" command the first time and after "cmake .." when cloning the full repo.

Cheers!

Was that update/clone done less than 19 hours ago? If not, redo it.
