I believe this is a limitation of Hybrid Wiimote – you can't use the remote's IR under Hybrid. If you feel like going the painfully complex route, you could set your remote up via GlovePIE or something and have the IR control the mouse, then leave the IR options on the default mouse controls and set up the rest of the remote under Emulated Remote. There's no guarantee you'll be able to figure out how to get every part to work, though.

What part is requiring Hybrid, anyway? Does it require another add-on controller (e.g. Classic Controller) that you don't have?
