I've been playing Okami using a real Wiimote through a dolphin bar. What I'd like to be able to do is everything the same except map the Shake control to my Wiimote B-button (and remap the B-button to Home, in this case).

Is there any way to accomplish this in Dolphin? It would also be nice for a few other games that use shake controls, like SM Galaxy and Twilight Princess.

Thanks

I think you can do it using a differnt mode on the dolphin bar, but doing so will force you to use emulated wiimote which pretty much defeats the purpose.

Thanks. You're right, it doesn't work.

It would be a cool featuer for dolphin to finally kill off wii shake controls. Sort of like how dolphin looks better than a real Wii, killing off shake controls with a real wiimote would be like "dolphin also controls better than a real Wii." Wink

That's completely subjective to the user opinion.

Anyway, that kind of feature is unlikely to happen given the complexities of emulating a Wiimote. It's not impossible, but it would require a lot of work, especially since different games can interpret shake movements differently...

And in fact, there are already some issues with the current shake emulation IIRC…
