It might be a little off topic since it concerns PC games but...

I installed the Zadig driver so Dolphin can natively use it with "GameCube Adapter for WiiU".

On the Dolphin Wiki, I can read this : "GameCube USB Adapter Driver, along with vJoy and Zadig drivers, can treat the GameCube controllers as generic gamepads for Windows. They can be configured in Dolphin like any other controller."
Which basically means that GameCube controllers can be used as gamepads on Windows, right?
However, None of my PC games can detect it, and it won't show up in the Gamepad Devices list on Windows Control Panel.
From France with love.

Zadig is not a driver. It's merely a program that installs/replaces drivers.

In that case, you can probably guess why it doesn't work: WinUSB is a generic driver that is mainly used to allow userspace programs to control the device directly. Also, there's no built-in input driver for the GC adapter on Windows (or on Linux, IIRC), so other programs simply don't know how to use it.

I totally agree with you. That's not my point.
My point is :

How do we get Windows to recognise them as generic gamepads?

Well, you need something like vJoy, as indicated in the wiki article.

Thanks Smile
Is it possible to keep both (native connect + Windows gamepad)?

Edit : Nevermind, I didn't see "Full comaptibility with the native dolphin driver"
Thank you ^^

Just make sure you disable it while running dolphin and it should work fine.
