Is there any way I can use my GC controller for dolphin, through my wii? I want to play Wind Waker, which I lost the disc for some time after ripping, without dealing with my stupidly-sensitive PS3 controller. No matter how big the deadzone is, I ALWAYS get bounce, and I don't want that. I also have a few PC games I wish to play with the aid of the notches and the near-inexistence of stick bounce on the GC controller. Do you know how often bounce can make you throw your sword after walrus-jumping in nidhogg, and make it so that the OTHER guy gets the initiative and gets to die to nidhogg?

"Is there any way I can use my GC controller for dolphin, through my wii?" Thru your wii like wii mote?

The adapter costs $60 for canadians. I don't have anywhere near that ridiculous amount of money.
EDIT: So there's no existing homebrew that, say, sends XInput/DInput signals through USB to a hopefully-connected computer?
LOL you didnt check out my page? I also have a Dolpinh member discount, you may want to PM me?
Quote:"So there's no existing homebrew that, say, sends XInput/DInput signals through USB to a hopefully-connected"computer?- Hmm, huh ? XInput/DInput signals are in the computer, so why send them to one? Maybe you have some terms wrong here so lets keep things common to what they are called. 1) A usb game cube adapter. There are a good number of these out there, some even made in CA. The GC plugs i to this, and you plug this in to a computer 2) A way to connect controller to a wii remote, again there is one in CA. So what are you after? ![]() main page Working controllers 01-24-2014, 12:22 PM

A way to use my wii as an adapter, for my PC.
EDIT: Really, all of my upgrade money is going to getting a new PSU to make it so that my overclock is actually safe, and I doubt I'll have more than the american price (minus tax and shipping) for the cheapest adapter I saw.
Wow, ok just help me a bit more here because reading that would mean using a wii console as an adapter for dolpinh? That does not make sense. Please I'm not trying to give you a hard time, just that a wii cant work as an adapter nor would that make any sense. Again, do you mean wii mote?

No, possibly not use it as an adapter, but some way of relaying gamecube controller information from the wii to the PC.
ummmm, so a game cube controller usb adapter would suffice yes ( understanding the price issue )?

Yes, it would work to achieve my end goal, but I have a wii right here.

You can not get the data of the controller fom the wii, and if you did the latency would be so bad you could not play a game, so get that out of your head.
Sounds to me like you want a GC controller working on dolphin. I'm going to PM you something as I cant talk about price on the board here. You may reply to my PM or the forum, but dont quote me. ![]() main page Working controllers |
