Use dolphin without GUI

Well, I would like use dolphin but I don't want the GUI, i need this for my project, please, this can be posible?

ummm...... i dont know any other way to build a nogui build other than removing wxwidgets.
so use aptitude to remove wxwidgets and run scons and you have a nogui build.

Ive been wanting the devs to add this as a feature, but no luck yet Smile

and if its for a project of yours, why don't you do it lol? the rule with in here is: if you want it, do it yourself.

well , in osx it should be possible by adding "nowx=true" in the compiler script ( or whatever , idk the name )

Thanks, but how can i use it? I know how open games normally but if I want start from a CD? And where is the config file?
Edit: I'm using Linux so if i uninstall wxwidgets i have a nogui version, but I don know how stop, pause or anything only I can at the moment use a file.

build with the command: scons nowx=true

I actually have a nogui build - I uninstalled xwidgets- but I haven't got idea on how use it, I only can play games from a file, but I want play them form a CD , pause the game and play and play it again or restart it, and stop the game and close dolphin, all this only with comands, is there any guide or faq or anything that can help me?
