USB Sensor Bar not working..

So I just bought a usb sensor bar from these guys http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350918887043?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
Tried using it with Dolphin to no avail then tried using it with the Wii and there's no response. Should I just send it back or is there anything I can do?

You can check it, use a cell phone camera when its powered on. If you see the purple lights its working. The cell will pick up the ir lights and display them as purple/blue you dont need to take a picture. Any other digital cam will work just as well.
